As per several media outlets, Virat Kohli is also considering ending his Test career. He has reportedly informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about his intentions.
Although no official announcement has been made yet, BCCI officials have urged Kohli to reconsider his decision. The final word is expected in the coming days.
According to The Indian Express, Kohli might retire from Test cricket ahead of the upcoming England series. Sources close to the matter state that he has made up his mind and communicated this to the board. However, with a crucial overseas tour approaching, the BCCI has asked him to reflect on his choice. As of now, Kohli has not formally responded to that request.
