“Now war is inevitable”; Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif makes a strong statement

Tensions between India and Pakistan have escalated sharply after Pakistan’s Defence Minister, Khawaja Asif, declared that war between the two nations is now unavoidable. In a recent television interview, Asif stated that the situation has reached a point where no other options remain. His remarks have drawn significant attention both domestically and internationally.

Adding to the heated rhetoric, Pakistan’s military spokesperson, Major General Ahmed Chaudhry, accused the Indian government of supporting terrorism. He alleged that India is funding extremist groups and promoting cross-border attacks. According to Chaudhry, India is also operating several terrorist training camps aimed at destabilizing the region.

Khawaja Asif went further, claiming that India is not only involved in activities within Pakistan but is also contributing to unrest in countries like Canada. “The time has come to hold the Indian government accountable,” he said. He warned, “If India is fond of Pakistan’s response, we will deliver it at a time, place, and method of our own choosing.”

On Friday, the Pakistani government reported that it had shot down 77 Indian drones that allegedly violated its airspace. Officials also stated that recent Indian strikes have led to the deaths of 31 civilians and injuries to 57 others.
