India gave a major shock to Pakistan! Trade completely halted.

After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian government has taken another major action. The Indian Ministry of Commerce has immediately imposed a ban on all direct and indirect imports from Pakistan. A notification was issued on May 2. It stated that a provision related to this has been added to the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023.

It also mentioned that, with immediate effect and until further orders, a ban is being imposed on all direct or indirect imports and exports of goods to and from Pakistan. Furthermore, if anyone seeks an exemption from this ban, they must obtain approval from the government.

It is worth mentioning that 26 people were killed in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Most of the victims were tourists. Since the attack, clashes have been ongoing between the armies of both countries along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. For the past nine consecutive days, Pakistan has been continuously violating the ceasefire in various sectors of the valley, to which the Indian army is giving a strong and fitting response.
