DC vs RR: Rajasthan won the toss and invited Delhi to bat, see the playing-11.

The 32nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is being played today, Wednesday, between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Rajasthan Royals’ captain Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bowl first, meaning Delhi Capitals will bat first.

After winning four consecutive matches, Axar Patel’s Delhi team was defeated by Mumbai Indians on Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. This loss caused Delhi to slip from the top spot to second place in the standings.

On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals, with only 2 wins in 6 matches, are in 8th place. Sanju Samson’s team has struggled to perform consistently. In the match against Mumbai Indians, Delhi’s domestic cricket star Karun Nair made his debut and scored 89 runs off 40 balls. At one point, Delhi’s score was 119 for 1 in the 11th over, but they lost their last 9 wickets for just 74 runs. Three of their batsmen were run out on the last three balls of the 19th over, leading to a 12-run defeat.

Playing-11 of both teams:

Delhi Capitals: Karun Nair, KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Axar Patel (captain), Jake Fraser-McGurk, Abhishek Porel, Tristan Stubbs, Ashutosh Sharma, Vipraj Nigam, Mitchell Starc, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohit Sharma
